101 Good Things in Feng Shui #8

Beauty: What is beautiful emits sheng (good) qi.. If you have ugly, dying or dead plants, bring the beauty in by replacing them with good looking, healthy ones. If you have furniture that needs reupholstering or repair, then tend to that even if it is with slipcovers or throws that make you happy when you look at them. Other ways to bring in more beauty is by keeping the walls fresh and hanging art that you enjoy.

101 Good Things in Feng Shui #7

The main entrance to a house is an active area. Yang qi is invited into the house to give it vibrant energy. Therefore, trees too close to the door are not desirable. Keep the shrubs trimmed back from the front entry and make sure the door is well defined. If you have plants by the door, be sure they are ‘friendly’ plants with nice soft leaves that are round.

101 Good Things in Feng Shui #6

Sickness energy can be minimized by the sound of metal. The most convenient source of metal sound is that of a chiming clock. I have found the Westminster Chime to be most effecting and even more so if the clock has a pendulum. The piano is also a good source of metal sound. Playing piano music from a CD can do wonders.

101 Good Things in Feng Shui #5

Thoughts and Moods impact the qi’s response to us. The higher vibration we can bring to our environments, the more the qi in our environments will assist us. This is some of the ‘man luck’ piece of Chinese Feng Shui.

101 Good Things in Feng Shui

2 of 101.     For better quality sleep, it is best to have your bed supported by a strong headboard, placed on a wall that you can see the door without turning your head and that contains Sheng Qi, and also keep the area underneath your bed clean and clear.

Your Sleep and Feng Shui

Did you know that the quality of your Feng Shui can influence the quality of your sleep?

Sleep is one of the major keys to success in all areas of our life. Quality sleep has a big impact on our quality of life. The quality of Feng Shui plays a big part in the quality of our sleep and life.

Some Feng Shui tips for better sleep are:

1.     Make the sleep area yin as possible, cozy and comfortable.

2.    Mirrored doors in the bedroom are best removed or covered to allow sounder sleep.

3.    At night cover mirrors directly across from the bed or a window in the bedroom.

4.    Keep the area under the bed clean and clear.

5.    Have a strong headboard attached to the bed frame.

6.    Place the bed on a solid wall that contains good qi.

7.    Keep the television in a room designated for television and not in the bedroom.

8.    Place the bed so that you can see the door without turning your head.

9.    Sound machine, sleep mask and earplugs are especially wonderful, too.

Sweet dreams.

Your Health and Feng Shui

Did you know that the quality of your Feng Shui can influence the quality of your health?

One of the ways to enhance healthy environments is through sound. The particular sound that has been identified to be very effective is a simple, battery operated chiming clock that chimes every 15 minutes the Westminster Chime. For best results we have found that it works to have the clock centrally located.

Creating Balance through Time-Space Feng Shui

How do we know when the environment is out of balance?

The ancient Chinese sages distinguished qi in myriad forms, in both energetic and solid states.  The basic classifications are called the “Five Elements,”  “WuXing,” “Five Agents”, “Five Qualities,” or “Five Properties.”

These five types of qi are in a constant interplay with each other and the particular life cycle they are in at any given moment.  There is a rising and falling of the vibrancy of each type that is in perfect harmony.  When that harmony is disturbed imbalance occurs.  When we live in an environment that is out of balance then we find ourselves expending a lot of energy doing the “balancing act.”

Your Wealth and Feng Shui

Through Classical Time-Space Feng Shui you can learn to identify the hot and cold spots in every room that impacts your wealth, and more.

Tips for creating more wealth flowing are:
·        Healthy live plants properly positioned.
·        Gentle moving water placed in prime wealth locations.
·        Keep the area under your bed clean and open (no storage, please).
·        Yes, do keep the lid down on the toilet. J
·        Allow sunlight to come in through the windows as much as possible.
·        Clear clutter a few minutes every day.
·        Smile a lot and look for the opportunities to amass more wealth in every situation.

Creating Balance through Time-Space Feng Shui

Why Balance with Time-Space Feng Shui?

Does ‘balance’ mean that everything is equally distributed OR does it mean that the balance leans toward what you want your environment to provide? In my decades' experience using Time-Space Feng Shui to design work environments to support your efforts to be more successful gives a distinct advantage.

Just like living an unbalanced life of excess can cause health, relationship, and financial problems, living and working in unbalanced environments can contribute to the same problems.

Since we spend the majority of our waking lives in a work-related environment, it only makes sense to have our workspace as balanced as possible for the specific purpose of successful work accomplishment.
