101 Good Things in Feng Shui #8

Beauty: What is beautiful emits sheng (good) qi.. If you have ugly, dying or dead plants, bring the beauty in by replacing them with good looking, healthy ones. If you have furniture that needs reupholstering or repair, then tend to that even if it is with slipcovers or throws that make you happy when you look at them. Other ways to bring in more beauty is by keeping the walls fresh and hanging art that you enjoy.

101 Good Things in Feng Shui #7

The main entrance to a house is an active area. Yang qi is invited into the house to give it vibrant energy. Therefore, trees too close to the door are not desirable. Keep the shrubs trimmed back from the front entry and make sure the door is well defined. If you have plants by the door, be sure they are ‘friendly’ plants with nice soft leaves that are round.

Sickness energy can be minimized by the sound of metal. The most convenient source of metal sound is that of a chiming clock. I have found the Westminster Chime to be most effecting and even more so if the clock has a pendulum. The piano is also a good source of metal sound. Playing piano music from a CD can do wonders.

Thoughts and Moods impact the qi’s response to us. The higher vibration we can bring to our environments, the more the qi in our environments will assist us. This is some of the ‘man luck’ piece of Chinese Feng Shui.

101 Good Things in Feng Shui

Clearing Clutter allows the qi to move more freely throughout your space. When the qi can move freely then you are more enabled to move through your life more freely.

101 Good Things in Feng Shui

Creating a lovely entrance to your front door makes the good qi happier and the not so good qi friendlier. It’s a win/win creation.
